Leak: HTC One M10 specs, release date, price, and images

For the last few weeks, we've been hearing a lot of rumors and leaks about the upcoming HTC One M10 - the new flagship smartphone from HTC. Specs and images have been circulating over the internet for a while now, so we've decided to compile everything that you need to know about this new device.

HTC One M10 Specs

According to rumors, The new HTC One M10 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor together with Adreno 530 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. Pretty much what we expect from a flagship smartphone. Nothing fancy about that. But here's what caught our interest, according to Evan Blass at Venturebeat, The device will offer a 5.15-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display instead of the earlier reported AMOLED screen. This means that users can enjoy a much brighter display and a better viewing angle specially outdoors as it removes the air gap between the outer glass and the display elements which is similar to what Super AMOLED screen does.

As for the phone's camera, the One M10 will have a 12-megapixel rear camera (with laser autofocus, OIS), and an 8-megapixel front with OIS.

It will also come with 32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card), a 3500mAh battery, and it will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.0 UI.

The company will also use its Ultrapixel technology into the new One M10's camera just like the previous One M8.

HTC One M10 Design

There's not much details we can tell you here, except for the idea that the new M10 will look a lot more like the One A9 and this time, you won't be seeing the black HTC branding strip anymore. The 'BoomSound' speakers are also gone. Also, they added a physical home button and possibly a fingerprint scanner as well.

HTC One M10 Benchmarks

As the release of the new M10 approaches, rumors have been constantly filling up and just last week, an image of HTC One M10 AnTuTu benchmark was leaked. According to Phone Arena, an unknown person from Taiwan has sent them a photo of HTC One M10's AnTuTu scores, revealing its promising performance.

Looking at the photo above, you'll notice that HTC One M10 clearly beats its rival flagship phones including Xiaomi Mi 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and iPhone 6S, by scoring a whooping 156091 AnTuTu score and ranking itself as top 1 on the list.

HTC One M10 Release Date

HTC has announced that they will be unveiling the HTC One M10 via online on Tuesday, April 12. The event will start at 13:00 GMT. There's no confirmation yet about the release of the device, but hopefully they'll start selling it on the same day of the launch, just like what they did on the One M9.

HTC One M10 Price

As for the price, nothing has been revealed yet. We're guessing it to be around $700. It's quite expensive but for a flagship device, sure it will be worth it. The HTC One M10 is expected to come in gray, silver, and gold colors.
