Sun Cellular now offers 4G LTE connectivity to all subscribers
After a long wait, Sun Cellular finally outs 4G LTE connectivity to its subscribers. We can recall that Sun has been using 3G connectivity network since 2007, it is when the company started. It's great that they finally stepped their game up to compete with its rival networks whose all been using 4G LTE network for a while now.
Alongside the announcement of their connectivity upgrade, are the new promo offerings both in postpaid and prepaid services. They've added Easy LTE Plan 999 (which you can avail with SIM only, LTE Pocket WiFi, or LTE USB Modem) and LTE Plan 999 for Broadband (LTE USB Modem or LTE USB Modem). For prepaid subscribers, they added the BigData70 promo which comes with 1GB data, unlimited all-network text and 30 mins of calls to Sun valid for 7 days costing 70 pesos. To register, just type in BDATA70 and send it to 247.
For existing 3G subscribers, you can go to the nearest Sun Shop to replace your 3G SIM with their new 4G LTE SIM card for free. To check if your area is covered with Sun's LTE network, just visit this link.
