The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
As many of you might already know, rumors spread all over the internet about the first two 2016 flagship phones from Samsung - which will be revealed very soon.
According to the article written by the most famous leaker in the tech world, Evan Blass, both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will offer a microSD slots - expandable up to 200GB. If it's true, then we can take that as a great news. I mean, who doesn't want a big data storage right? One thing that's notable though is the design, which is seemingly identical to the 2015 Galaxy S6 line. However, the Galaxy S7 Edge will no longer come at 5.1-inch display but instead, it will be a larger 5.5 inch display size. Both devices will supposedly come with Super AMOLED screens, at 1440 x 2560 quad HD.
Samsung doesn't want to go to a whole new level of changes with their phone design it seems, not really a bad idea though - knowing that it's still a well-crafted device and what not. It's also a dust- and water-resistant.
As for the batteries, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be receiving a higher capacity of 3000mAh and 3600mAh respectively. Inside, phones will be powered by the new Exynos 8890 or Snapdragon 820 but here's the thing though, sure, both will perform better than the rest of mobile processors out there in the market but discrepancies will still be present knowing their different designs. Nothing is for sure for now, until we get to test it ourselves.

The camera sensor however, will be having a lower megapixel count of 12 megapixels from the 16 megapixels of last year's but with a larger f/1.7 lens aperture which is better in low light situations. The front-facing camera will supposedly remain the same with 5 megapixel resolution.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to be revealed this coming February 21st at Samsung's Unpacked event in Barcelona.
