Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube 3 will be available soon at Lazada

UPDATE: It has a dedicated microSD card slot, dual SIM support, a non-removable battery, metal frame, and plastic back cover. Now available at Lazada from March 15-18.

Earlier today, the new Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube 3 was spotted at Lazada's item list with the price of P4,999 - same as the Cubix Cube 2. Under the hood, you'll find a 1.3 GHz Octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 16GB internal storage. As for the camera, it comes with a 16 mega-pixel rear camera, and an 8 mega-pixel front. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS HD display with a 720 x 1280 resolution and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

On paper, there's not much to look at here. The only upgrade is the Android Lollipop OS version, camera, and the processor. As some of you might not know, Cortex-A53 has a higher performance rate than the previous Cortex-A7 and it's more energy efficient as well. For the price, it's definitely a bang for the buck not to mention the possibility that it may also have a microSD card slot which is the only lacking feature of the Cubix Cube 2. These upgrades however, have cause them to downgrade the battery capacity of the device from 3,500 mAh down to 2,700 mAh.
